PHYSICIAN EVALUATION
He reviews symptoms, medical history, examination findings, relevant imaging, prior treatments, and your goals. The source of pain or other symptoms matters more than a treatment label.
Ask about the tissue source, manufacturer, processing, lot documentation, whether living cells are verified, and the product’s FDA status. A “stem cell” label alone does not establish contents or benefit.
Dr. Mackey discusses available evidence, risks, cost, follow-up, and established treatments. If he finds a proposed stem cell treatment clinically inappropriate, he will explain other options or a referral.

EVIDENCE & REGULATORY STATUS
Florida Statute § 459.0127 permits licensed osteopathic physicians to perform certain stem cell therapies related to orthopedics, wound care, or pain management when statutory requirements are met. It includes sourcing, consent, and advertising rules.

No. The state statute sets requirements for certain physician-performed therapies; it does not establish effectiveness or replace an individual discussion of evidence and risk.
NovaGenix is a self-pay practice. Product volume and a verified stem cell count, when applicable, can affect the price. You will receive an itemized written estimate before committing, with no hidden fees.
